Went all the way up to the take home assignment. Spent valuable time to complete it, but receive a generic message that they had moved on with another candidate. Shows a lack of respect for your candidate. The least you can do is a phone call.

Communicative recruiter that was responsive and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Following the initial HR call was a take home case, then a meeting with the hiring manager, followed by a technical interview with CTO & Data Consultant, and finally a call with the VP of People. Everyone that I spoke to was genuinely excited about the product they were building and appeared to love working there. (Unfortunately the timing of the offer did not work for me, otherwise I would've loved to join.)
