I received a response to my application asking to setup a date for a phone interview. So, I set Up a date and time for the interview. Unfortunately, I was having issues with my phone at that time so I sent a follow up email later asking if I could call the recruiter at the time of the interview. I understand that she was probably busy and would not get back to me right away. The day of I didn't get any response and the time of the scheduled interview came and went. I received an email after stating she tried to reach me and could not. I sent a response letting her know about the email I sent asking if I could call her and she responded with an apology and request to reschedule. My issue here is I need to find work and I believe I that I am a top candidate for the roles I apply for plus I bring a lot more experience and knowledge to the table than arguably most of the candidates. It seems that the ball keeps getting dropped by recruiters. Do they get any training or assistance on these jobs?
