      Entretien

My interview journey with this company was a rollercoaster of highs and lows. Initially, the process started on a positive note. The test assignment was engaging, and the technical interview, conducted by two personable interviewers, was both enjoyable and stimulating. We delved deep into the assignment and discussed a wide range of technical topics. Following this, a conversation with the business owner further elevated my interest in the role, as we had an insightful discussion about the company's processes. However, the positive momentum took a downturn during a subsequent call with the team, intended to address my questions about their internal processes and specific tasks. Unfortunately, this interaction was far from what I had anticipated. The team lead struggled to provide clear answers to my questions about their testing processes and internal workflow. Moreover, another team member, relatively new to the company, was understandably unable to contribute much to the conversation. The need to repeat my questions due to unclear responses was a frustrating aspect of this call. The culmination of the interview process was unexpectedly harsh. I received a blunt call informing me that my application would not be progressing further. The reasons cited were perplexing; they doubted my full-stack coding capabilities despite my successful technical interview, criticized me for asking 'too many questions,' and inaccurately claimed I had not responded to their inquiries—despite the interview's focus on my questions regarding team dynamics and processes. This feedback seemed inconsistent with my previous interactions and achievements within the interview process. It left me reflecting on the importance of clear communication and the role it plays in effectively evaluating a candidate's fit for a role. The experience was a reminder of the need for both parties in an interview to engage openly and transparently, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment on expectations and job fit. I think company should invite HRs for such interviews to avoid toxic communication from their team leads and business owners.
