Entretien
Thorough, casual. Opportunity to ask real questions and time to have them answered. Interest in my background as it related to their mission, not just as it related to the job itself. Real-time note takers.

Initial interview is a phone screening, and then you move on to panels. There were a couple strange questions in the phone screening, but it was mostly your standard general questions. They took a long time (~3 weeks) to reach back out after the screening.

An Initial phone screen and then an on-site interview with the hiring manager of the innovation lab in brooklyn . Another on site with the leader of the team in lower Manhattan. A case study on how/what you would do to enhance their app. Then you are asked to present and talk about your work.
They had super positive feedback and were pretty excited about me it seemed but then they literally said nothing to me again.
I assumed I never received this offer and just accepted another but the recruiter literally went radio silent on me after reaching out twice. A rejection is fine if the company is willing to provide feedback and be cordial about it. This was downright awful and I’ll never forget it. I was super excited about the opportunity but after never hearing back about a yes/no I knew this was not a place for me.
A few months later I learned that they’d laid off the product team. It appears the new administration was more of a threat than they let on during the interview. All things that could have
been avoided with a bit of communication.
