I recently had the misfortune of attending an interview with this company, and to say it was disappointing would be an understatement. The interviewer was shockingly unprepared, almost as if they had been handed my resume five minutes before our meeting. They stumbled through their questions, some of which were irrelevant or outright incoherent.
It was clear they hadn't taken the time to understand the role they were hiring for, let alone my qualifications. The entire process felt like an exercise in futility, as though I was being tested not on my skills but on my ability to endure incompetence.
I expected a professional and engaging conversation, but instead, I was met with disorganization and a lack of respect for my time. If this level of disarray is indicative of how the company operates, then I shudder to think about what it’s like to actually work there.
I strongly urge them to rethink their hiring process, starting with equipping their interviewers with the basic professionalism and preparation expected in such settings.
