I applied on line. There was a "test" that took about an hour or so to complete. I received a call and the manager asked me to come in for an interview. She asked me what I felt I could contribute to the Brand of Pier 1. After the one on one interview in the office she took me on the sales floor and roll-played with me. She was the "customer"and asked me to sell her some dishes. She was looking to see if I suggested other items to build the sale. She also wanted to see if I asked "tell me" questions to more fully understand the needs of the "customer". The roll-play lasted for 4-5 min.
