Applied via linkedin and received an email for a phone screening a few days later. Had the call with an HR person and thought it was a great conversation and interview. She even asked me while still on the phone if I was available the rest of the week to come in to meet the head of marketing for a second round interview. I was also asked to do a PR writing assessment. After sending that in the next day, she said the head of marketing would be in touch. I never heard from her, the head of marketing or anyone else at the company, even after following up the next week. To have someone do a 30 minute phone call PLUS an entire writing assignment and then just have radio silence is completely unprofessional by the HR team and company itself.
