      Entretien

A quick phone call with the recruiter. He was very young (I looked him up on LinkedIn) so I feel like he didn't do a great job at asking me the right questions and didn't give me much chance to ask questions myself. I was actually surprised when after 10 minutes we were done with the call. He scheduled me for a phone interview with the hiring manager which is when I realize this maybe would not be the right company for me. Whenever I would ask her questions she sounded a bit defensive and almost made me feel like I was stupid for even asking that. For example, I asked her what the day-to-day more or less looked like for the role and her answer was "it's supply chain, it's always different" Uhhh, okay, so no general idea that you can share with me? I mean, I know it changes all the time, but there must be a set of responsibilities/expectations that come along with the role. Am I right? She sounded annoyed and unhappy to be there and definitely didn't make me want to work there either. However, I made it to the in-person interview and that was the final punch. I first met with the director or president of the department and honestly I had never interviewed with such an arrogant human being. I right away understood that I was not qualified for the role, but each of his questions had a condescending tone. As I tried to give him my best answer he looked like he was very much enjoying seeing me so nervous. After being tortured for 30 minutes, the hiring manager walked in and she pretty much asked the same questions she did over the phone and at the end seemed confused that I didn't have much experience in demand planning... never did I say I did - it was no where in my resume and she didn't mentioned that was critical for the role when we spoke on the phone. She seemed bored and made me feel as though I was wasting her time. To top it off, as we were in the middle of the interview, the director that I was interviewing with earlier rudely barged into the office and started serving himself a glass of water as the hiring manager and myself were still talking. He didn't even excuse himself. Then proceeded to sit at his desk and just stare at us. It was awful and a waste of time.
