J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Phenom en mars 2025
Entretien
1. Video recordings of 3 questions
2. Screening call with recruiter
3. Technical Interview #1 - 1 coding question, 1 system design question, questions on projects and CV experience
4. Technical Interview #2 - The recruiter said that this was going to be an interview with the team manager to see team fit, and discuss my experience. Turns out, it was more of a technical interrogation full of question to trip you up and go after you for every nitty-gritty detail. No questions that seemed to gauge team fit. Very stressful experience, would not want to do it again.
5. Final round with leadership - Real disappointment, since the leadership came into the interview saying that a role that demanded experience in Microservices, API implementations, cloud computing in the job description and that they made me do 2 technical rounds for, was in fact, not a technical role, and I wouldn't be a good fit. He described the role as more of a sales role than a technical role, with you suggesting the same boilerplate solution to every new client, instead of actual solution architecting that the JD described.
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Phenom (Ambler, PA) en mai 2026
Entretien
It was pretty chill, I was asked to write a single line of SQL and python code. I was also asked many questions about APIs. They also asked about how I use AI in my day to day life and told me to describe how ChatGPT, Gemini and Claud are different/similar based on own personal experience.
Phenom rescheduled my interview three times, then the interviewer didn’t even show up. They sent a new invite later, and when it finally happened, the person was arrogant and dismissive. Corrected me on something I was actually right about. Whole thing felt disrespectful and chaotic. Wouldn’t recommend going through their process. Total waste of time.
