They’re apparently only a consulting agency specializing in clients from a particular field. Therefore, they only do screening calls and then decide whether to set you up for a contract with their clients, which may involve another interview first. They seemed friendly throughout the whole process until I got my contract and realized that the hours and pay were nothing like what we had discussed and they refused to elaborate when I got in touch about it.
