Was met by the Salon Manager who ran 20min late. I was sat down in the back and joined by the store manager. I was asked about my previous experience. I told them I was interested in the apprentice program. They told me that even though I had 2 years bathing experience in a professional setting that I would have to meet tons of sales quotas before they would even consider me for grooming. I was making $14 at my other job so I would be taking a large pay decrease to "maybe" be considered for a grooming position. They offered me $9.00 an hour to which I countered with $12.00. She stated, "Our grooming manager doesn't even make $15, so there is no way I could start at $12.00." At that point the General Manager rolled her eyes at me, got up, and left. The Salon Manager stood up and said "thanks for coming", and ended the interview. It was probably the most unprofessional interview I've ever had. Left a really bad taste in my mouth for how they would've treated me if I was hired. Yikes.

It was an easy interview to make and it was easy for the interviewer to understand what I was saying about my experience with dog grooming as well as sales
