      J'ai passé un entretien chez Personio

      I applied to both Design Manager and Staff Product Designer positions. The first stage was a call with their Design Recruiter, during which we decided that we'll proceed with the Staff Designer role. I've been through many poor hiring processes, but this one has never happened to me before. After making me wait for two weeks(an additional week took her to confirm the interview after receiving my availability) the Recruiter sent me to the wrong interview. Yes, yes... Instead of Stuff Designer, I was asked the questions for the Design Manager role. The mistake was revealed at the end of the interview and probably not to lose face HM asked me to prepare a presentation for the next stage which didn't happen. I checked right after the interview Staff Designer role had already disappeared from their job list. So they ended up sending me some auto-rejection email after another two weeks. I was hoping to at least get solid feedback on what I can improve, but instead, I've got some vague "your communication could be better" feedback without pointing out what I've missed delivering in my answers, which question I could answer better etc. Cause assert without justification is exactly what brilliant communicators do. Throughout the process the Recruiter was very unsupportive, ignoring all of my messages. Although I learned to take the rejections easy a long time ago I have to admit Personio gave me one of the worst candidate experiences I ever had. Once this horrible hiring team is still in the company I will never reapply for any of their positions.
