Peraton should be mortified but I dodged a bullet. After being recommended for this role or another team lead role BY THE CLIENT the recruiter left a very unprofessional message then never called back. The client then recommended me to the subcontractor for either role, they submitted me and Peraton said they were filled internally. That was 3 weeks ago but they’re still live online. Based on this experience I will not be applying to or considering any roles here in the future. I’m now left trying to explain to a client why this happened and why they won’t have me on their team.
