Disorganised interview process and unclear growth strategy 1. Interview Process: The interview was poorly organised long waits, unclear scheduling, and rushed sessions. Communication about next steps was inconsistent, with promises of feedback delayed multiple times. 2. Role Clarity & Expectations: The role seemed ill-defined. Revenue targets appeared arbitrary, and there is little support or guidance from experienced GTM leadership. It felt like the new hire is expected to “figure it out” independently. 3. Company Culture: While initial conversations suggested a positive and supportive culture, reality felt different. Leadership seems inexperienced, and the company direction appears uncertain. 4. Candidate Experience: There were red flags throughout: last-minute schedule changes, lack of clarity about additional interview stages, and feedback that ultimately rejected me because my skill set overlapped with an existing employee. 5. Takeaway: Remote flexibility is a plus, but overall the company feels like a start-up with a high risk of “hire-and-fire” practices. Not recommended if you value structured processes and clear growth paths.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback – we always welcome the opportunity to improve our candidate experience as it is extremely important to us. So firstly, let us apologise for the fact that your experience wasn't ideal. As a people-focused business, we take these matters seriously and would welcome discussing this further if you'd like. We regularly seek feedback on our recruitment processes and usually receive very positive responses, so it’s always concerning when a candidate does not share that view. You're absolutely right about the delay on the final interview day - this was due to unforeseen circumstances, but was still unacceptable. We apologise for the wasted time and will build in more leeway in the future to avoid this happening again. We hope you’d agree that all previous stages of the process ran more smoothly and that we kept you well-informed throughout - though we acknowledge recruiting during August created some delays due to staff holidays which weren’t ideal. Regarding role clarity, we're sorry to hear you felt this was lacking. While this is a fairly new role, which could have led to its definition feeling unclear, rest assured we are an established business with clear vision and direction. As a growing company, we maintain agility to respond to market conditions, but if this came across as lack of management maturity or unclear direction, we clearly need to improve how we communicate our established foundation and strategic clarity and will reflect on this. We understand you felt there was a lack of process clarity. Our recruitment is intentionally rigorous precisely to avoid "hiring and firing" practices. We're extremely proud of the longevity and stability of relationships with both our internal team and UK-wide contractors - this is demonstrably our culture. As a small team, we need the right mix of complementary skills, and while we were impressed by all shortlisted candidates, we had to make decisions based on the best fit with our existing team. We appreciate you holding up the mirror and we will always take accountability where our processes fall short. We wish you every success in your job search and sincerely thank you for your interest and time.
