I had an inital screening stage, a HR / Technical interview, and then a panel interview consiting of 4 30-min interviews with different team members. I believe there may have been one stage after this where you meet someone C-Level for your branch (e.g. EMEA). It was actually quite nice as far as interviews go. Everyone was really friendly, the panel interviews were pretty causal, and the technical interview was a fun mix of things that wasn't too hard.

Question 1
Imagine you get an email from a customer saying that they are struggling to complete a task and need your help. You go back to them with a list of instructions explaining how to do the task. They then respond saying they're really sorry, but they still can't do it, can you help out? You send an email back with much more detail, screenshots, in-depth steps, etc. They then come back and say that they still really cannot follow the steps. How would you feel in that moment? How would you respond? What would you do to ensure the customer can complete what they need to do?
I'd been in contact with a recruiter previously, so I applied to a TSE role and had a screening call with him in July 2024. After this I waited for almost 3 weeks for a response - I was told the hiring manager was OOO. When I finally heard back they wanted me to take their technical test. This stressed me out and I found it slightly hypocritical that 3 weeks had gone by with radio silence on their end and then they suddenly wanted to me take the test ASAP. It wasn't that difficult in the end, so I moved onto the interview round. If I made it through this interview round then I would advance to the final round which was talking with the head of the department. At this point a different recruiter became my new point of contact with little explanation. The interview was a panel, where I talked to 3 current employees and the hiring manager back-to-back. I thought it went fine but I was rejected because they hired someone else with more experience. The rejection email was timely but was very boilerplate and gave no feedback which I found extremely disappointing. I ended up calling the (new) recruiter for feedback, which she gave to me. It was not very constructive, however; essentially "we wanted someone with more experience." I hope they give future candidates the detailed feedback they deserve and proper explanations regarding their decisions, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case lately. I was excited about Pendo going into the process, but by the end I felt they had disrespected me and my time.

Question 1
What is an example of a difficult customer interaction you had and what steps did you take to resolve it?
Web interview and basic questions about resume. Interviewer seemed bored and not enthusiastic. Asked me basic questions like if they worked in a DMV office then said I had a good chance since I had a internal reference and the same experience as my reference. Ended up getting an automated rejection email with no feedback and also left me on read when I requested feedback
