J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Pendo (Raleigh, NC) en août 2021
Entretien
Many red flags throughout the process, here are a few:
1. Without fail, every single person who interviewed me arrived late (some without apologizing/acknowledging) so this was already a red flag. One of the interviews was also cancelled an hour beforehand, recruiters and the entire Pendo team seemed to have an utter lack of regard for my time throughout this process. When interviews would get cancelled or need to get rescheduled, recruiters were very pushy to set up another time at the interviewer's convenience with no consideration for how the last minute change would affect my current full-time job and schedule.
2. This process was the definition of bait & switch- Was told this was for a more senior position and once I got through the time-consuming interview process (5+ weeks), had to dig around only to find out the actual offer was for a position 5 years junior to the original role.
3. There seems to be a general lack of direction across the company.
The interview process really lacked transparency and I probably should have dropped out of the process much earlier on at the first sign of these red flags, wouldn't recommend.
Was invited to interview - had that conversation two weeks ago - was told in the interview I would be invited forward. I reached out and although its the holiday season, the recruiting team should ensure that candidates are in the loop and clear on next steps.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
"I'm not the easiest person to work with - how do you work with difficult people"
I think that most can agree that first impressions say a lot. Typical initial recruiter call and don’t expect any type of follow up from them. Apparently that’s too much to ask these days. Don’t waste your time. There are too many other companies hiring right now that will follow up with you, regardless if they decide to move forward with you or not.

Question 1
Standard overview of the company, position, and your experience. If the initial conversation is with a recruiter, lower your expectations on what to expect to gain from the conversation.
