Was contacted by the recruiter for a conversation that was very general and friendly - lasted about 20 minutes. Was asked about why I'm making a change, my career trajectory. Was asked about comp expectations upfront, which I wasn't expecting.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Pendo (Raleigh, NC)
Entretien
I went through 5 interviews with Pendo for a position that was listed as hybrid (2-3 days in office, which I made sure to confirm every round of interviews). Everything went really well until my last round with a higher level executive. Basically said it’s an in-person position and all top performers are in 5 days/week and that’s the culture they want in Pendo. Bait and switch at its finest - I was told this was the determining factor for not receiving an offer because I was surprised about that comment and disagreed that performance was tied to number of days in office. Completely contradicts the job posting but I see it as a bullet dodged.

Question 1
Typical interview questions. Tell me about a time when, etc.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Pendo (New York, NY) en mars 2024
Entretien
The interview process was straight forward but this organization seems to really enjoy waisting time. I went through 4 rounds of this interview process... the 4th round consisted of a panel interview and mock discovery call. 4 days later (after receiving positive feedback) the recruiter sends me a generic email stating they moved forward with other candidates.
Clearly the team is EXTREMELY UNREALISTIC in their expectations for this role. The review before this one was for the SAME POSITION.
