The manager called and had me excited about the position within minutes. Unfortunately I had to explain that 11 years ago there had been a misunderstanding and I had left to take care of my mother, and had not been able to provide a sufficient notice. I was no longer qualified for rehire. She said that she still wanted to contact HR and see if there could be anything done, especially as I had excelled with the company before.

I applied with the company and received a call for an interview. I did not respond to the call as I found out I was moving to another state with my husband. The manager at the community I applied to proceeded to call my boss a day after I did not return her call. She asked questions about me and my employment with the company without my consent. I had already put in a notice at that time due to moving, but my employer had a very brash conversation with me about the situation on my last day of employment. Applying for other jobs while employed is very stressful, but this is unacceptable. APPLICANTS BEWARE IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY EMPLOYED.
