I applied for an AI Conversational Designer II position. In the middle of the interview, it became clear that the position had been downgraded to level I rather than level II. I was frustrated that they did not tell me this in advance or even at the beginning of the interview, and especially frustrated that it only came up because something I said. If I hadn't referenced the role I thought I was applying for, they never would have told me. Also, I could clearly tell the recruiter was reading my resume for the first time during the interview because near the end, they said something like "Oh! I didn't realize you were a data scientist! You seem too technical for this role." This gives me the impression that no screening was done of my resume at all. It feels like the recruiters at JustAnswer are simply scheduling meetings to meet a quota. While that's unfortunately relatively common, JustAnswer was the most disorganized and disrespectful version of this experience I had during my job search.
