1st round telephonic and screen share pair programming. They shared a Google Docs word file to pair program which was extremely shocking to me since most of the pair programming is done in any online JS editors not word files. Very basic JS questions and system design rounds 2nd round f2f the interviewer was extremely unfriendly felt the interview to be very simple and bland. Question on React and Hash Maps and BST. 3rd round with senior developer more detailed discussion on previous work experience and React Virtualisation and redux around 40 mins round. HR walks in and says "The review is not positive". I asked can I get a feedback from the interviewers since I answered all the questions correctly and gave multiple solutions to each problem. HR says "Even I'm not aware will get back to you on it" Called HR 2 days later still gave the same response "Even I'm not aware will get back to you on it" Found Paytm interview process to being a total waste of my time.

They so not have any clue what I was talking about. They ask outdated question and expect only outdated answer. Grow up. The technologies had changed. They feel threatened if you give them any answer apart from what they are expecting. For a growing company like paytm, there should be some standard process for interview. And no rookie should he given an opportunity to interview. Hilarious experience.
