The interview process was straightforward and I went in person as well and had a great conversation (I thought!) I was asked to complete a follow up exercise showing ideas I'd have for the role and after submitting my work - I was ghosted. I didn't hear back from my recruiter, the hiring manager, or anyone for a few weeks and then just got the auto rejection, still no communication from a human. I completely understand not getting an offer but not even getting a confirmation of receipt / a follow up for the work I did outside of the interview process was extremely disappointing.
