It was a phone interview and the interviewer was polite. She asked a lot of good questions. Although she said she would give a call after to inform me of the results and I never heard anything and haven’t been able to get a hold of them

I was so impressed with the Paycom interview process. I have never experienced such a quick response and feedback from the beginning to the end and how thorough the HR staffs trying to help me to succeed in my interview.
I really appreciate the HR lady Samantha. She was very professional, knowledgeable, positive, encouraging and enthusiastic at the same time. She called the day before the on-campus interview to go over the process and provided the type of questions that I should be expecting. The conversation with her was so encouraging and it eased so much of my nervousness.
On the day of interview, after passing through the gated security guard and a 2nd security check in the building, I was greeted by two very friendly HR staffs before the interview with the Team Lead of the department.
The interview went well. They asked the STAR questions which were exactly what the HR staff prepared me for. They explained thoroughly what the job is like and what their expectations are.
It turned out to be that it was not the right match for me and the job. It is ok. I will keep my eyes open for other jobs in this company. My impression is that they do their job well and they treat people well. I definitely want to work for Paycom.

Contacted by recruiter for brief interview process over the phone. Scheduled for in person interview the following week. In person interview with 2 team leads who read questions from a script, told me to be very specific in my answers, and took notes as I answered. Questions are psychologically structured to get a feel for your work personality without just asking what intend to discover within your answer. Following the question process the team leads outlined their own experience and shared negative experiences they had working at Paycom, almost felt like they were getting a feel for if I could “hack it” or not. Team leads mentioned this was their first experience in any sort of management experience, it was apparent. Heard from the recruiter that no offer would be made within 48 hours of in person interview. Absolutely no feedback was given as to why they felt I was not a fit, the final phone call lasted 26 seconds in total. Felt the process was a bit of a waste of my time due to lack of feedback.
