I wasn’t actively looking for roles but entertained an interview given the high base salary they offer. Recruiter was very communicative until she decided to ghost me. In my first interview that went well, the sales manager made a pretty generalized negative comment about younger people expecting a more flexible work environment insinuating that’s not something you’d get here. It’s 2024, who wouldn’t want a flexible work environment?? Regardless, I get not everyone is a fit but the least the formerly responsive recruiter could do is tell someone that they went in another direction - especially after I followed up twice. Left a very bad taste. When you ask people to show up for a 7am interview I expect better treatment. Honestly feel like it’s a blessing they didn’t continue the process if this is how they do business (poorly).
