J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Paycom en oct. 2020
Entretien
I had been reached out to multiple times while working, and when I began a new job hunt, figured I'd give them a call to learn more about their org.
I connected with the recruiter, had 3 separate interviews with her, the local director, and then VP before they mentioned they didn't have an opening and if I'd be interested in Account Management instead. Was then handed to another (different) recruiter, had the same three interviews around that space, and then was told that someone had transferred this week so they no longer had space.
The recruiter mentioned they should have another opening by EOW that they would like to offer me and that she'd "be in touch Friday..." Luckily I took another job because I haven't heard from her since!
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
A lot of "get a feel for you" questions focused around your work ethic, sales numbers, quota, achievements, etc. Kind of centered around your "highlight reel" of your career.

Long process and have to set meetings in front of a manager on the phone. They have you come into the office and make cold calls without knowing the product at all.

Strung me along through the interview process only to say they were going with someone else after basically telling me I had the job. Then heard that they were starting the interview process with someone I knew indicating they were not going with someone else.

Interview was easy but something didn’t feel right so I declined the offer. They seemed to salesy to me, almost like trying to get me to accept on the dot.
