I was contacted in the early spring by a recruiter through a hiring website. I gave my phone number and times I was available. I was never contacted. Directly after graduation I decided to go ahead and submit some applications. I was called for a phone interview. It went very well and I was scheduled for an in person interview. When I arrived for my interview, I was told the person that was going to interview me was busy. They sent someone else from the team to interview me. I was asked the same “get to know you” questions from the phone interview. I’m not sure if that’s normal. Most places I have interviewed have had progressive questions. It has been a few weeks and I still have not heard anything. Last I talked to the recruiter, I was told I would receive a call with how to proceed. I know they have many applicants but it seems a bit cold and unprofessional.
