I was given a technical test, which was fairly straightforward. However, the subsequent interview was scheduled without mentioning it would be technical, and it unexpectedly focused on computer science fundamentals instead of the web experience.

Question 1
The interview began with questions about my professional experience, including topics such as Firebase authentication and Stripe integration. However, the interviewer did not mention beforehand that the session would include technical questioning. After the initial discussion about my experience, the focus shifted toward computer science fundamentals, covering concepts like stack vs. heap, concurrency vs. parallelism, and compiler vs. interpreter. The only question about web development was related to React (Virtual DOM),
- Don't advertise the position as a Software Engineer position, only to reveal during the interview that it's actually a Solutions Engineer position.
- It's not a good look when the interviewer can't answer "What are the responsibilities of the position?" "I don't know" is NOT a good answer for that question.
- I think the interview I had might have been someone impersonating a Partly employee, because the interview was so bad. I have honestly never experienced anything like it before.
