The technical interview was very unprofessional. It was pretty clear that it was interviewer had little or no experience with the interviews and was insecure about his own job in the first place. First of all, you do not start off the interview by saying that you only have one hour and he has to finish the interview within one hour come what may. It gave me this feeling that this person clearly has other things on his mind and is only going through the interview process to get the HR off his back. During the interview, the candidates are shown a Google Colab file and asked to propose modifications on the existing code. The process is straightforward, yes. But the way it was conducted was very annoying. You cannot ask a generic question with plenty of possible right answers and expect the candidate to guess the one solution you have in mind. What a waste of my time.
