When I asked the recruiter if she wanted to share anything about the company (as she never talked about the company or role), she deflected and asked me what I wanted to know. I asked about the parent company, Builders FirstSource, and the BLDR platform, and how that would influence future projects. I did not find her inviting, and the interaction felt off. If the external customer communication was a hard requirement, why are you interviewing me if I don't have it in my resume?
