Applied online through the company's website. A couple days later I received a phone call from the restaurant's manager asking to schedule an interview.
I went to the restaurant with my resume and had a brief interview with the manager. She asked about my work experience and questions such as "how have you grown in your experience" and "what did you do during a time you made a mistake?". There was a lot of talk about "manager potential" and whether I would be willing to move up in the company. I said yes even though I didn't actually mean it (just looking for summer job).
After the brief interview she told me I was a good candidate, and that she would like the regional manager to interview me as well. He did a couple days later and eventually I was hired.
It was very easy, just answer honestly since they are hiring they want to hire anyone that shows they will be a good employee. Don't try to move up in management, unless you want to stay with the company for 5+ years, they will make you bend over backwards for them.

It was an average interview about 15 minutes long. Not too critical, but they ask a good questions. I had a second interview with the district manager, and she was very nice.
