Entretien
A phone interview to discuss projects on resume and some general machine learning questions, followed by an on-site interview on programming in Python, basic SQL queries, and data science design questions.

1. What's the relationship between PCA and k-means clustering?
2. What are the requirements for a matrix to represent a kernel? What happens if we run SVM using a 'kernel' that does not satisfy these requirements?
3. Problems using Python lists and dictionaries
4. SQL joins, aggregates (count, sum, avg), and cases
5. If you were given a dataset with [X] features (may be numerical, categorial, etc.) and you want to build a model (to determine fraudulent transactions, say), how would you determine which features are best to use in the model?
Short, and ver professional they didn’t give much feedback but answered all my questions concerning the work environment as well as the rest of the interview process. Asked very general questions nothing too specific
I interviewed with the director of data science on university campus, and spoke with a data scientist over the phone a week or so afterwards.
HR was very slow with getting back, but I was able to contact a recruiter through LinkedIn for my status.

First contacted by the HR lead for a phone interview. This was then followed by a phone interview with the team manager and then an on site panel interview with 5 people from the Analytics team.
