I got called about a week after I sent in my application online. The girl asked if I wanted to come to their downtown HQ for an interview the very next day, so I said yes and rearranged my schedule accordingly. I arrived 20 minutes early but as soon I got into the waiting room, the receptionist gave me a clipboard and I immediately started a grammar and written comprehension assessment. That took longer than I expected, and I had to write an incident report. I waited around once I was done than got interviewed by someone who wasn't in HR, but was helping out because their team was busy. He was the branch manager or something. Either way, he had a pretty unconventional way of conducting interviews. He looked over my application and resume and had me just talk about myself while he read. I was talking about myself for at least 5-10 minutes straight without him saying a single word, just nodding and stuff. After that, he basically just told me about Paladin and why he feels passionate about the company and whatnot. He didn't ask me any questions, no "why do you want to work here?" "what makes you a good fit for this job?". He just looked at my resume and based off of what I was saying, said he would make his recommendation to hire me. But I stayed in that interview room at least 10 minute longer just discussing the company and future goals. He was very conversational and open. Overall, a very different experience - but very positive. I doubt most other interview at Paladin go this way.

I had applied maybe a week before I got a call, I did a simple phone interview (Availability and previous experience) and then was asked to come for a face to face interview the same day. I went to the office and completed a simple English proficiency worksheet and a mock incident report and then proceeded with the face to face with the branch manager. It was fairly simple again asking about my previous experience (None in security I might add) when I would be available to start or if there would be any issues obtaining a clean criminal record. The branch manager said he thought I was perfect for the position and offered me the position.
