Was offered an interview after applying. They offered to fly me to the Dublin office from another location in Europe, all expenses paid with a night in a hotel. Very thoughtful. The interview itself was with a manager and another team member. The manager was friendly and asked the typical interview questions, while the team member was quite rude and would just jump it at any moment with some off-hand question. I've worked in the gaming business for years and understand they try to throw you off to see how you think on your feet, but this was literally interrupting me or the manager to throw a question in. Finally, when the interview concluded, I was just walked out. I didn't get to see the office at all, meet any of the people I would potentially be working with or anything else that would help me make such a large decision to move countries to take a position. After leaving the interview, I was sure I would not be offered the job. I was in fact offered the job, but I declined because the company didn't really seem to be welcoming and I felt like I would be just another number in their operation.
