J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez PNC Financial Services Group (Pittsburgh, PA) en juil. 2018
Entretien
Resume strength led directly to an in person interview; normally there would have been a phone screen first. The hour-long interview was a brief introduction from the manager, then a three-person panel (one was remote) of Scrum Masters, closing with the manager again.
Their implementation of Scrum is the far-too-common rebranding of the traditional PMI, deadline driven, bureaucratic, phase-gated, non-collaborative paradigm. The product is a monolith with a high-level of complexity regarding dependencies. Automation (CI, CD, testing) is a low priority. Technical practices lack maturity.
Improvements provided during Retrospectives are primarily focused on infrastructure versus the important topics of process and interactions. Sprints usually do not result in complete, potentially-releasable, Increments as they are highly focused on long-term release plans. Product Backlog Items are nothing more than traditional requirements provided by Business Analysts and System Architects.
