Truly, a horrendous piece - I got a call from the HR recruiter that told me all about how the company was founded, I thought it was a bit redundant at first, but also that it was nice that this place has some sort of legacy, she set me up for 2 back-to-back interviews -first one with her and the 2nd one with my to-be-boss. I arrived at the place, and she told me over the phone to get to the 1st floor, where nobody has welcomed me - so I stood there for a couple of seconds and wandered inside, looking at people for any sign of where am I. 2 dogs reached me (the place is dog-friendly - a +) and I started petting them while calling the recruiter, SHE DID NOT ANSWER and I was left there to figure out what to do. After a couple of minutes a woman arrived and asked me who I was - I said that I came for an interview and she said that she was the interviewer and asked me with a really lofty tone if she is the one interviewing me or the dogs. Not a good start. The place was a mess, she did not print my CV, she didn't quite remember my name and she didn't know where to conduct the interview, so it came to pass that I was staring at her for 10 minutes, waiting for her to find a place for the interview, she, on her side, chit-chatted with people about their weekend. We got to the office, the place was a like a protected space, without air-flow of heating, and I started wondering if this is what captivity felt like. When we settled she told me the company's story again, with a whole lot less of enthusiasm as though she were sleeping. Everything she asked me I repeated 3 times - once because she asked me, twice for her to listen, and the third time for her to write it. it was a bloody joke, and I wondered if she had ever spoken to another human being before me. She repeated questions with various forms (what would your boss say you have to improve, what would you say you have to improve, what would other say you have to improve) - she was being the clichè of HR recruiter from the early 90s. She kept sending messages over the phone, and then, she said that there would not be a second interview today, because they had a company meeting and the boss is not available - I didn't say it at the time, but that's not respectable - you make candidates come for interviews - you interview them, even if you don't feel like it or you decided that you don't want them. She said that they will contact me regarding a 2nd interview (which I already decided that No, there is no way I will take part in this farce). Moreover, she did not know to answer my questions about what tools or frameworks they were using and it looked like she was trying REALLY hard for me to not want to work there. Funniest thing - they sent me a 'sorry but' mail about 3 days afterward. The lousiest experience I ever had, and I sure hope that if you want to interview there, you won't meet her. (My original review had some bad language, so imagine it)
