I’ve had many interviews over the past 6 years in different roles, and unfortunately, this was the worst experience so far. I’m used to fast-paced interviews where you need to be precise, in fact, most interviews are like that, but this one felt desperately rushed to the point of creating an unnecessarily tense atmosphere.
The recruiter asked for feedback, and I shared my honest reflections in good faith. I never received a reply.
I’m writing this review as a heads-up for future applicants: the product might look cool and promising, but based on my experience, the internal environment may lean toward something toxic.
I had only one interview. The interview lasted around 35 minutes. Nearly half of the time was spent with the interviewer sharing their personal background and providing an overview of the company — most of which I had already studied (a lot) in advance via their website and documentation. This left very little time for me to express the value I could bring to the role. The pace was extremely fast and the tone felt tense, which made it difficult to have a calm and thoughtful conversation. I had prepared deeply and was excited about the company, so the imbalance in the conversation was disappointing.
