I never got to an actual interview but I felt compelled to mention my negative experience in their application process.
They ask how you would organize the CEO’s inbox as well as other basic information about your skills.
A representative responded mentioning she liked my answers and asked for one additional question. She asked how I would email the CEO to get info to book flights on his behalf.
I gave a detailed answer and once she read my email, she rejected me right away mentioning that they’ve moved in another direction. I just checked their career page and they’ve deleted the job.
I can only think she made me go through this process to write out a manual for a current or new assistant. I normally would shake off a rejection but this process left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Job posting stated option between 30 hours per week or full time. Salary range btw. $30-$50 an hour. I have significant experience, asked for part-time and stated my rate was $50 throughout the process. Went through a labor-intensive three-week process: two phone screens, personality test, one final video conference. Also: two rounds of written interview questions requiring detailed answers about behavior and organization skills and a one-year strategy plan, I was then asked for an onboarding strategy plan, follow up questions requiring detailed answers about inbox organization, they checked my references, did a background check. After all of that, I was asked if I would cut hours from 30 to 20 per week. That would cut my earnings by a third. I did not get the job.
