The interview was scheduled with several panel interviews. From previous experience interviewing at Orlando health, it is of note that it is very rare for them to hire an outsider. It seems as if they invite outside candidates just to show that they interviewed many people. Most of the panelists were very friendly, some were very unfriendly and lacked warmth. Some questions had nothing to do with the role applied.Orlandohealth should really consider less panels for an interview day. Auxiliary staff panelists asked a lot of non professional questions that had nothing to do with Orlandohealth mission and values or the job position.The communication regarding not choosing a candidate should also be better. An email should be sent to the candidates email thanking them for applying and notifying them that they will not be proceeding with them as a candidate. Most of the time you have to keep looking at the website to see if application was rejected. This is 2025, please send candidates a courtesy email of their rejection. To all outside candidates, remember it is very rare for Orlandohealth to hire an outsider. It will most likely be a wasted courtesy interview.
