My experience interviewing with Opvia was very negative, and I found the company to be exceptionally unprofessional. I got to three rounds of these interviews and was expected to complete very large and time-consuming tasks which took DAYS to complete. I was asked to complete a founders task which included producing a FULL BUSINESS PLAN MEMO and complete working example of their current product. I prompted them twice to get feedback and have been completely ghosted, which with the amount of time expected to put into these tasks was completely unprofessional.

I would not recommend engaging with this company. My interaction with HR was polite and quick, which initially gave me a good impression and made the eventual outcome even more unexpected. By the end, the process felt like a scam. After the HR screening, I completed a math task and was then asked to design a system (e.g., inventory or quality management, probably smth else). While they allowed freedom in approach, they provided no clear expectations of the format they sought. It looked like a freeform task. I spent about a week creating a detailed presentation, which I believed was the most suitable format for a non-paid task. The feedback I received was vague, suggesting that I create a working prototype with dummy data. When I asked for clarification, I was ghosted, despite initially believing they wanted me to refine my submission. I even followed up twice but received no response. It’s deeply frustrating to be ghosted in the middle of the interview process. If they had no further interest, the least they could do was send a formal rejection. After reading similar reviews, it seems this is a pattern.
