Everyone at Optum was so friendly, except for my initial call with the Optum recruiter. They asked me to 'answer a few questions' and proceeded to go through a full list of interview questions and scenarios with no preparation. In retrospect, I would have scheduled another time as this was last minute end of the week. I found the recruiter to be quite rude and she didn't allow me to ask any questions.
I assumed I didn't get the job and then heard a month later that I was asked for a first-round interview, after the interview was told I would hear back next week then didn't hear anything back for another month. Again, I assumed I didn't get the role and then was asked for another interview.
The questions were not extremely difficult, but I found the initial recruiter and the whole waiting process to be quite annoying. I will say everyone that actually works at Optum on the teams seam really friendly, professional, etc. I would just say they take a really long time to get back to you and it felt disjointed.
