J'ai passé un entretien chez Optiver (Chicago, IL)
Entretien
The OA consists of sequences, 3 very hard coding problems (leetcode medium-hard) in 2 hours and a lot of small games.
The second round is with a trader where you play some trading/MM games on a platform and you are supposed to find optimal bets and potentially arbitrage.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Given a bunch of games with some betting odds, is there an arbitrage (always win money no matter the result of the game) ?
Very smooth, the HR just asked me why Optiver, why quant, what is your strength and weakness, what is the career plan in the next 5 years, but I did not answer very perfect
first round of math probability
2nd of betting. the platform was bit hard to use. Recommend to get some training if you can find the resources. both interviewers were nice
The first section was the online assessment which wasnt too bad, and the next part was a scheduled face to face behavioural interview. Still waiting to see if i passed that stage of recruitment
