Smooth, easy, phone interview with typical HR questions. They sent me 3 hackerrank tests. All of them were easy (for me). One of them was asking for an efficient algorithm, so I submitted code that's as primitive as it could get in C#. I ran the tests and made sure they all passed. A few days later, I received an email that they "decided" not to pursue. I asked for what I did wrong and what I could improve. No response.

I apply mid/senior software developer(Shanghai) on LinkedIn.
A few days later, a HR contact me on LinkedIn and we have a short phone chat the next day. She asked me why I want to move and go through my past working experiences.
She seems don't satisfy with my answer about why Optiver. About twenty minutes later she said I was not suitable for this role which requires a full understanding of the whole trading system, performance tuning, etc.
I'm really excited about the coming technical interviews. What a pity!

moderate to easy hacker rank test, took about 2:30 hrs, contained 5 multiple choice questions and three coding tasks
the last coding task needs the most of the time
the interview was mostly about checking personality and communication skills, and also contained some questions about skills and previous projects,
