Very UNPROFESSIONAL company !!!! If someone is really interested in building a career I would not recommend interviewing here.
I went through the interview process and they offered me the role. HR came back to me 1 week after giving the offer that he had forgotten to take ELT approval for the offer and visa transfer. A few days later ELT denied the offer.
Process-
- Applied online (via LinkedIn)
- 10 days after the application got a response from HR for a conversation
- HR forgot to call me at the desired time and then when I dropped an email he called back
- Hiring Manager Interview (MS Teams) - 45 min interview lasted about an hour - Well structured and enjoyable interview. I was impressed by the hiring manager who seemed to be a genuinely good guy.
- 2 rounds of interview with Principle/Lead Product Managers (Reported to Hiring Manger) .. Nice people but the interview was not well structured .. probably they did not have a set of questions provided to them .. it was an old school way of resume only interviewing
- Got the offer 4 days after the final round. Same day negotiation was done and dusted. I had a couple of questions about the visa process and HR has no idea about the same.
- Go the offer letter and background verification the next day
Cons -
- Leadership team seems to be only thinking about $$$
- Leadership should commit and own their promise
- Worst - HR (non-responsive, not well trained, don't know the processes)
- Immature hiring processes ( No skip level/leadership involvement in the hiring process until after giving offer letter (Big Joke) probably they don't care about employees )
- Highly fragmented company (Uncertain future)
- Very old school
Pros -
The only silver lining was the hiring manager. He seemed to be a very nice guy who genuinely cared about his team (very hard to find these days) and I would have loved to work in his team.
In the end, I would like to thanks OpenText to give me end to end Interview experience and help me build confidence that I can crack any interview that I set my eyes on.
Wishing you all the best and I hope you mature as a growing organization.

The conversation was initiated by Open Text based on on application on the career portal. HR was informed about the current salary & notice period.
First 3 rounds were completed in a week one hour each, and Positive feedback was shared. Suddenly HR informed that they aren't comfortable to move ahead seeing the notice period duration.
This was very unprofessional from the OpenText side as these details were informed before the start of the process and 3 hours of productive time was in vein.
