The recruiter and I had a great conversation and she was very complimentary about my experience, and candidacy. However she was not able to provide much clarity on the salary band or benefits and the role seemed a bit amorphous. She passed me along to a manager at the organization, who I interviewed with. He didn't appear to have reviewed my resume or prepared any questions. He seemed unfriendly and very uninterested in learning more about me. It felt like a bad date--one where you stumble your way through the process to get it over with as quickly as possible. It was pretty disheartening overall.
