The first interview is a 30 minute phone interview. Interviewer was nice enough but the who process felt quite mechanical and that I was just another applicant. Very first question was "what do you know about OnDeck?" so be prepared for that one!! She seemed to like my answer but also "filled in the gaps" of what i missed. Seemed a little much as I didnt expect she wanted me to EVERYTHING about the company... Maybe she did. Anyway, rest were mostly skills based questions. She only allowed me to ask one question before she cut me off. Maybe I wasnt a good fit so she didnt want to waste her time but it was a little ridiculous, Make sure you have your first question be the best one!
