First phase was a video call, it was pretty nice and the atmosphere was quite good. Afterwards, I made it to second round where I received the home task assignment. I have completed it according to my best knowledge on how to achieve the goal mentioned in the task (it was about increasing conversion rate). The final response was, that I didn't go into sufficient depth of the subject and that my suggestions were not customer oriented (they never mentioned it needs to be customer oriented). The task was about increasing conversion by just couple percent while their feedback seemed like it was about increasing the conversion by 50 % (basically, a depth they mentioned was required to get there and that small increment could have been achieved without focusing on customers too much). I would say they need to work on communication of their expectations regarding the task, otherwise it is a bad experience.
