Manager was quick to arrange an interview due to my past bartending experience. Explained that I would have to start as a server and gain enough positive customer reviews through their electronic payment system to qualify for the position and retain good reviews to keep the position. Said that most bartenders don't stay or choose to remain servers because the money is better. Had a second interview which was more the usual corporate questions like "How did you handle angry guests?" Again it was reiterated that the advertised bartender job was hard to get and keep. Was this a bait and switch or just informing of honest expectations? I guess I'll see ...

, afterwards the interviewer expressed I would have to be a server for at least 1-2 months before starting to bartend so I immediately declined.

During the interview they told me they do not hire bartenders you need to start as a server for atleast 6 months. They then asked if I wanted to continue and asked general hospitality experience questions
