      Entretien

I applied to Old Navy for Customer Experience Associate 2 weeks ago and received a call to come in for an interview a week after I applied. I went in for the interview Tuesday, which was a group interview with 5 people including myself. At the group interview we sat in chairs and took turns answering typical interview questions and then the last half of the interview we spent on the floor fixing up the tables and welcoming customers. It was so the ass. manager could see how we interacted with people and our personality. After that, we were told we would be invited back for a second interview if we "passed" the first interview. Received a call the next day, and went to another group interview the next day with 5 people including myself.with the general manager This was different than the first interview, we went over some of Old Navy's policies and what to expect working for Old Navy, then we went onto the floor where we had to grab 3 items for the general manager to wear. It wasn't as bad as I thought, she really liked what I picked out. Anyways, again we were told we would be called by the weekend if they were interested in hiring us. They said they were only looking for 2 at the moment so I kind of lost hope. I come home and a couple hours later just before closing, I get a phone cal from the assis. manager saying that the general manager really liked me and offered me a job. Of course I accepted and I start orientation on Monday!

Three different in person interviews over the course of 2 weeks with three different managers who were incredibly nice until I was actually hired, then they couldn't be bothered, my store had a tendency to way over hire.

All interviews are the same for Old Navy until you're applying for a higher-level management position. Standard and straight-forward questions to assess your personality and previous work experience. Not demanding at all. If they bring you back in for a second interview you probably will get the job as they're always looking for new hires and it's not too hard of a job.

Received a call asking me to come in for a group interview about a week after I applied online. Before the interview officially started, we played a game as an icebreaker. Then we split into 2 groups of 4 and the interviewer started asking us questions. We first wrote down our individual answers, then discussed our answers within our groups. One person from each group would then report the agreed-upon answer to the interviewer. They were pretty standard interview questions. After, the interviewer talked to us individually for a couple of minutes to go over our resume, ask us why we're applying, etc. Of the 8 in my group that were interviewed, 5 were offered positions. The 5 of us were basically the ones that talked the most/showed the most communication skills. This was for seasonal positions.
