Had a call with the recruiter and it went well. Both agreed that the role would be a good fit based on my experience. Confirmed what next steps were and added my availability to schedule. About 5 hours later got an automated response saying I had been rejected. Called, texted, emailed, and linkedin messaged my recruiter asking what happened but have been completely ghosted.

Internal referral, phone screen went extremely well, went to first round - hiring manager showed up late. I tried to ask questions about the team, what they were looking for in a leader, etc. and was met with absolutely no emotion and very little response.
