      Entretien

      Initial 30 minute phone screen with recruiter, followed by 45 minute phone interview with hiring manager. The recruiter was very professional and personable. Asked pertinent questions and listened. Hiring manager was also very professional and engaged, albeit not as overtly friendly as the recruiter. Took time to explain the role and organization, and answered questions about objectives and responsibilities clearly and in detail. Everything about the process was handled courteously and professionally. I was not given an offer, which was fine, but I would have liked some feedback on how I could have been a stronger candidate, similar to what I received from Amazon and HBO recruiters, who were extremely constructive in that regard (kudos to them, by the way). Still have a high opinion of Okta and would apply for other positions in future, as they are available.

      Entretien

      I got a call from the recruiter. I went over my resume and explained my experience as a TPM. She was very happy with everything I said and before we hung up she set up another call with the hiring manager for the next day. I got the call from him and before anything he kept insisting that he doesn't want to go over the 30 mins in case I have other meetings. I kept reassuring him that I can spend as much time as he likes. But it soon became very obvious that he had already made up his mind that he won't move forward with me before calling. I don't think he was even listening to me. So he would ask me to explain something that I had just went through explaining. Not sure why he even wasted our time for this.

      Very basic questions that usually doesn't tell you anything about a person's experience. For ex., how do you start a project? Or why are you interested in our company? etc.

      Entretien

      I met with about 6 people, including the VP of Engineering. The recruiters did a good job prepping and scheduling everything. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. At the beginning, they have you sign in, then escorted to a conference room. You stay there and different interviewers would come to that room at their scheduled times. It was very organized and impressive.
