Overall neutral experience. Had initial call with recruiter and then had several zoom calls with hiring manager. Came onsite for final interview to speak with several more people. Received an offer soon after.

SEVEN rounds of interviews. Hiring process spread over 3 months. I can't imagine working for a company with such unprofessional and disorganized communication and empty promises from the very beginning! It was a good lesson in what red flags to lookout for from future employers. Week after week of scheduled INDIVIDUAL interviews, all 45 mins long each with different managers with intricate interview scenario questions. After which the manager of the sales team promised to get back to me after the weekend. 2 weeks go by, no response. Follow up text, he says he's been "traveling" to not been able to speak with his team. Apparently too busy traveling to talk with his other coworkers..? He promises communication after the weekend. 2 MORE weeks go by. Follow up text. Response 3 days later. Asks if I'm available to talk about the position later that week. What more is there to talk about?? After the call he says he's still thinking about it. He'll get back to me after the weekend. As expected, another empty promise. 1.5 weeks later, I receive an email stating they selected another candidate with better experience and that aligned more with the compensation expectations. Compensation was only explained to me once by the preliminary phone call and my OTE salary I stated I expected was well below what she quoted... This whole process was comically terrible.

Multiple virtual interviews with National Sales Director followed by President of the company. . Also with lateral management. All virtual. Not the standard questions, looking for a fit. Make sure to ask plenty of questions about day to day activities.
